If you play right it wouldn't even matter.
Learn how to play better and stop using excuses to hold yourself back.Ĭonsole community always seems to assume that they lose ONLY because its a PC player they went up against. Hopefully, that's soon, as I was having loads of fun with are minimal at best, especially in Arena. I don't think I'll play any more Arena until opt-out is released. I honstly can't belive they released Arena without opt-out. There's a reason almost every other game segregates it's population- it's just not fair to mix them. It's gotten to the point where I no longer want to play Arena because I don't think I can win against PC players, and many I play with share this attitude. When it comes to pirate on pirate combat, the PC advantage is massive. However, as the casual population has waned with time, and experinced PC crews have come to be more and more of the population, it's become clear just how much opt-out is needed. Around the launch of Arena, it wasn't so bad, as they were enough casual players that lobbies were often filled without a single PC crew. The forced cross play is killing Arena's competitiveness. That said, I feel pretty confident in what I say based on what I've seen. Unfortunately, it’s also sunsetting the game’s arena mode, saying maintaining it is unsustainable as it wasn’t as successful as the team had hoped. This is going to be somewhat subjective, as I've not played much Sea of Thieves on a computer. Rare further notes it’s working on fresh seasons – season six begins in March and includes what the studio is calling sea forts – for its 25 million total players. These will play their own part in making the world of Sea of Thieves feel richer than ever before, and while the subjects of these Mysteries could be anything, we can tell you that the first one will see players attempting to solve a murder.” Set your pocket watches now! Mysteries will run alongside Adventures and remain part of the world for longer, relying on the community to solve clues and riddles both inside and outside the game to move the story forward. Our first Adventure, ‘Shrouded Islands’, is currently set for release on February 17th. Accompanying cinematics will help set up the story, and a finale Adventure will cap off each narrative arc. Adventures are time-limited, arriving on a roughly monthly schedule and running for 2-3 weeks, with each one forming a chapter within an overarching narrative. “Enter Adventures and Mysteries: these story-focused events are designed to complement Seasons, providing regular narrative-driven content for players to dig into alongside the other gameplay features brought in by our Seasonal content drops. “Stories, whether they’re the ones we tell or those that our players create themselves, are at the very heart of Sea of Thieves, so we want to inspire new tales of derring-do and comradery.”
“With Seasonal updates still forming the skeleton for Sea of Thieves, one of our main goals for 2022 is to flesh out our pirate world and make it feel more dynamic,” the studio says. Sea of Thieves went a bit Mary Celeste over the holidays, but this week, Rare has resurfaced with an outline of content through the end of 2022.
